Oatmeal Fudge Bars (Emily’s Grandma Pat)

Ingredients

Dough
  • 1 C. Butter
  • 2 C. Brown Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 1/2 C. Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 3 C. Oatmeal
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 tsp Salt
Filling
  • 12 oz. Semisweet Chocolate Chips
  • 14 oz. Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 3 T Butter
  • 2 tsp Vanilla

Directions

  1. Cream Butter, Sugar, Eggs and Vanilla.
  2. Add dry ingredients and mix.
  3. Press 2/3 of the dough in 8×8 pan (or 9×13 for thinner bars).
  4. Melt filling ingredients & spread over dough.
  5. Bake at 350 for 20-25 min. until the top is golden brown. Let cool, then cut.
